In his free time - he writes this blog, reads widely on software/web/business/entrepreneurship/investing, plays sports, geeks out with some amateur web programming, and of course, writes self-promotional web pages referring to himself in the third person!

Why This Blog?

I've seen good resources on the web for almost every discipline in the high tech industry - whether it be developers/engineers, testers, UI designers, project managers, marketing personnel or sales reps. However, I've found very few resources targeted specifically at product management & product marketing professionals.

I've also noticed that the skills required for successful high-tech product management & product marketing are generally not taught in academic curriculums, including MBA, Business and Engineering programs at most universities. Most product managers and product marketers learn on the job - usually under a lot of pressure but without a lot of accessible resources to learn and grow.

This blog is my small attempt at filling this void. If this blog helps one product manager or product marketer do his/her job better, then I would've achieved what I set out to!
